Preparation of Quilt
Tops should be pressed, threads cut and NOT basted. Keep top, backing and batting separate.
All salvage edges must be removed. The salvage edge can distort the quilt and cause puckers in the fabric, I am not responsible for salvage distortion.
(Optional) Stay stitch 1/8 around the edge of your quilt TOP to help prevent seams from coming unstitched during the quilting process.
Backing needs to be 8 or more inches larger than quilt top. Backing needs to be squared.
Batting needs to be 8 or more inches larger than quilt top.
Place a safety pin in the top of quilt for reference purposes.
